Datasheet

Overview

Product name Recombinant Human CXCL2/GRO beta/MIP-2 Protein
Catalog No. RP00349
Description Recombinant Human CXCL2/GRO beta/MIP-2 Protein is produced by E. coli expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Thr39-Asn107) of human CXCL2/GRO beta/MIP-2 (Accession #P19875) fused with an initial Met at the N-terminus.
Bio-Activity Measured by its ability to activate chimeric receptor and induce reporter gene expression in HEK293 cell line used Splite TEV activity detection platform. The ED50 for this effect is typically 2 ng/mL.
Purity > 95% by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin < 1 EU/μg of the protein by LAL method.
Formulation Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution of 20 mM TrisHCl, 400 mM NaCl, pH 8.5.Contact us for customized product form or formulation.
Species Human
This antimicrobial protein is part of a chemokine superfamily that encodes secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The superfamily is divided into four subfamilies based on the arrangement of the N-terminal cysteine residues of the mature peptide. This chemokine, a member of the CXC subfamily, is expressed at sites of inflammation and may suppress hematopoietic progenitor cell proliferation.
