Datasheet

Overview

Product nameRecombinant Human B7-1/CD80 Protein
Catalog No.RP00065
DescriptionRecombinant Human B7-1/CD80 Protein is produced by HEK293 expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Val35-Asn242) of human B7-1/CD80 (Accession #NP_005182.1) fused with a 6×His tag at the C-terminus.
Bio-ActivityMeasured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When Recombinant Human B7-1/CD80 is immobilized at 1 μg/mL (100 μL/well), the concentration of Recombinant Human CTLA-4 Fc Chimera that produces 50% of the optimal binding response is approximately 0.05-0.3 μg/mL.
Purity> 92% by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin< 0.1 EU/μg of the protein by LAL method.
FormulationLyophilized from a 0.22 μm filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.
SpeciesHuman
The protein is a membrane receptor that is activated by the binding of CD28 or CTLA-4. The activated protein induces T-cell proliferation and cytokine production. This protein can act as a receptor for adenovirus subgroup B and may play a role in lupus neuropathy.
